The Transketeers is the makers collective of Bart Peters, Chris Rijksen and Jonah Lamers. Together they are committed to positive visibility of gender diversity. Their work includes films, TV productions, podcasts, workshops and the creation of teaching materials. Resilience, humor and authenticity are paramount themes in these productions - instead of making things about people, the focus is on making things with them.
With their skills as storytellers, they broaden the horizon of their audience beyond their own perspective.
Within Queer Network Amsterdam the Transketeers, amongst other things, record the annual ceremony of Transgender Day of Remembrance, made the documentary 'I am not a Number: Alejandra’ and they facilitated the livestream for the Pink Dance Palace.
