Stichting art.1 is the organisation behind the International Queer and Migrant Filmfestival (IQMF).
IQMF was founded in 2015 and is an annual cultural landmark for queer & migrant related film as well as a multi-disciplinary community space with art exhibitions, workshops, talks and the international talent programme IQMF Academy, all contributing to a diverse and inclusive society. Every year IQMF brings over a queer en migrant films to a wide audience in Amsterdam and the rest of the Netherlands. After six years of festival the team of IQMF opened their nomadic cinema Supernova Cinema. Every once in a while Supernova will open their doors in a new or known space, to bring a queer, political, climate justice and decolonial voice audiences in Amsterdam.
